STADIS is a static dissipator additive (SDA) that is being used in aviation fuels. It reduces the risk of static discharge and electro-static ignition. STADIS is used worldwide in civilian and military aviation turbine JET A-1 fuels. In AVGAS, the use of STADIS is optional depending on fuel storage and handling needs.
The primary difference between JET A-1 F35 and F34 lies in their freeze point specifications. JET A-1 F35 has a lower freeze point than F34, indicating improved cold weather performance.
